By India Today Web Desk: Chelsea manager Graham Potter said that his team has made “a little bit of progress” since he joined the Blues.

Potter, who is celebrating a month in charge of Chelsea, said: “I think we’ve made a little bit of progress in terms of (my) first day to now, as you would expect and hope.

“There’s a long way to go and I think the thing is we have to just focus on the next match. It’s as simple as that. We’ve got this incredible amount of games that we play (before the World Cup) so rather than think too much about what’s going to happen at the end of the season just focus on the next game.”

Chelsea will host Wolves in a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, October 8. When asked about welcoming their ex-player Diego Costa, Potter said: “We’ve got a lot of respect for him, for his career, for what he’s achieved. He’s a Wolves player and he’s going to come and be ready to play.

“Everybody at this club knows how good he’s been and I’ve followed his career from afar and I’ve huge respect for him and what he’s achieved as a player. He’s one of lots of talented players at Wolves especially in the forward line (with) lots of attacking players that can hurt you so we have to be ready.”

The Spanish striker Costa, who won two Premier League titles with Chelsea, signed a deal with Wolves until the end of the season. He is expected to play on Saturday.
