As seen in the video, the new Xtreme 160R is expected to be powered by a new 4-valve engine. In the current version, the motorcycle is powered by a 2-valve unit and the new 4-valve engine is an indication that the manufacturer has worked to enhance the performance of the vehicle.
Apart from that, a major highlight of the updated bike will be the old telescopic fork being replaced by an all-new USD fork unit. The current model is powered by a 163cc, air-cooled trim that makes 14.9 hp and 14 Nm of torque. It remains to be seen if the updated model will retain the same 163cc mill from its predecessor.
In other updates, it is likely to get Bluetooth connectivity with a revised instrument cluster. Hero MotoCorp can also be expected to offer the motorcycle in new dual-tone colour options.
