BMW has officially launched the facelifted version of its high-performance M4 Competition, bringing a few subtle but meaningful upgrades to its flagship sports coupe and convertible.
Performance Upgrades
The 2024 BMW M4 Competition facelift maintains its powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, but a remap of the engine control unit (ECU) increases power output from 503 horsepower to 513 horsepower. Torque remains at 479 lb-ft, which helps the coupe sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds, while the convertible takes 3.7 seconds. Despite the small bump in power, the acceleration figures remain the same as the previous version.
